General Information

NOTE:  Information subject to change due to COVID-19

170 St James Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron parades on Friday nights at 17 Wing, Building 21 from September to June.

Our mandate is to deliver the Air Cadet proficiency level training program. We also have several optional programs including band, biathlon, drill team and marksmanship.

The squadron is over 130 cadets strong with a dozen adult staff members who help make it function each and every week. Positions are staffed by officers of the Cadet Instructor Cadre (CIC)--CAF reserve members whose trade is to lead and mentor youth. In addition to CIC officers, our staff consists of full time CAF members who volunteer their time, civilian instructors under contract (CIs), and civilian volunteers (CVs).

Our office hours are Fridays from 1800 hrs to 2200 hrs between September and June excluding holidays.
